AKAS Virtual Design, Inc. (AKAS) is a developer and manufacturer of mobile digital advertising signage systems, serving markets across Canada, USA and globally.
AKAS’ products are a series of In- building Mobile Digital
Advertising Units (IMDAU) known by the brand name, “MOBILA1”.
Through MOBILA1 units AKAS introduce cutting-edge digital signage
advertising technology to mobile in-building applications, such as
shopping malls. Though digital signage has been deployed in
stationary indoor displays and in outdoor mobile applications, e.g.
signage trucks, MOBILA1 units are truly unique in providing an

Nova Scotian Entrepreneur Nick Kasteljanov’s slogan reads, “Think
about the possibilities, not the disabilities.” Possibilities are
exactly what his project MOBILA1 is hoping to provide with the new
patent pending invention, MOBILA1, a mobile digital advertising
signage systems. Kasteljanov predicts that the invention could
employ hundreds of individuals within Canada and the United States,
in full or part time operator positions. MOBILA1 is composed of a
electric mobility scooter with a support structure that attaches two
or more large digital display screens. The scooter is also equipped
with multimedia player or computer and speakers that assist in
broadcasting targeted mobile advertising in high traffic venues like
shopping malls, airports and sports stadiums. “We are very excited about the potential this
invention has for providing employment opportunities will providing
businesses with a more targeted form of mobile advertising.”
