Is AKAS Virtual local company?
A: Yes. AKAS Virtual is a locally owned and operated company with
20 years experience in the PC industry.

What forms of payment does AKAS Virtual take?
A: At this moment we take cash, cheques and PayPal only.

Do you service APPLE/MAC computers?
A: No. Windows based systems are our specialty. Even more specifically,
we are specialists in Dell computers.
Q:
Do you service IPod’s and cell phones?
A: No. We are specialized in laptops and desktops.
Q:
Do you guarantee your service?
A: We guarantee our services for 15 days (if systems are used in
reasonable way, with full functional anti-malware software and
firewall installed).
Q:
Do you offer On-site services?
A: Yes. There are extra fees for travel time. Please contact as at
akas@akasvirtual.com for quote and to arrange the visit.
Q:
Do you repair computers under warranty?
A: No. You should take the computer to the store where you
purchased it or send it to the manufacturer. If you require
non-hardware issue service such as virus cleaning or other services
not covered by warranty we will be happy to assist you.

Do you offer Wireless Network Installation Services?
A: Yes. It’s under our On-site services.
Q:
What tasks must be completed prior to install or repair?
A: Please back up all personal data files (My Documents folder for
example) prior to service being performed. AKAS Virtual is not
responsible for lost data. Data transfer service is available for an
additional fee.
If diagnostic/consulting is required, please note that diagnostic
fee ($50) will apply even customer choose not to continue with additional
services after diagnostic results.

Is there anything I need to prepare for
service?
A: For service of a desktop PC, just bring your system discs with
key codes that came with the computer and tower. If you're bringing
in a laptop for service - AC power adapter and the system discs. For
some services we will need Administrator and Bios passwords. If you
require custom software installation, please bring original CD’s
with key codes.
